First Session - June 14-17, 2010
Goals:
- Participants will experience an enhanced appreciation of the Catholic nature of the school
- Participants will gain a minimal understanding of the content of the Catholic Faith in all three areas of curriculum instruction.
- As a result of the program, there will be a greater awareness of the Catholic Culture among faculty and staff of each school.
Curriculum
- Knowledge of the Faith: Scripture, communion with Jesus Christ, great teachings of Christianity, dignity of human person

Audience
Elementary and Secondary teachers who desire a deeper understanding of the meaning of Catholic education.
Format
Hybrid Model
- Onsite
- Participants will gather at WTU June 14-17, 2010 for a survey of Knowledge of the Faith; Sacramental Life and Worship; Moral Life
- Online
- Participants will take part in at-home education through semi-monthly presentations and discussions, as professors go more in depth with each topic.
- Onsite
- Participants will return to WTU March 24-26, 2011 for an integrating retreat.
Cost
$1300 including room and board for two onsite programs, entire program and program materials
Washington Theological Union will award a Certificate of Completion to each participant at the end of the program.
